Santa's Little Helper

First let me just say I am so happy I didn't pay WAY TOO MUCH for Jolly Holidays on ebay.  I was SUPER excited when I saw it was available on Cricut.com.  I needed a new Gypsy because mine was starting to act up.  I had around 3800 rewards points so I decided to spend the $100 on cartridges then use the rewards points to get to 4000 for the free Gypsy instead of buying a Gypsy.  I already have most of the cartridges offered on the rewards site.  Well it came just in time literally.  I updated my old one and it will not turn on but my new is here so all is well.  I lost many of my designs but I'm in the process of recreating the ones I still needed.  (including the Lego men, please be patient.)

This is one of my new favorite layouts.  I love how it turned out!  I used Riding Hood Red, Pretty In Pink and Wild Wasabi from SU along with a printed paper I picked up while at a crop recently.  I used Elegant Edges for the picture mat and the elf and wagon are from Jolly Holidays.
I made this tiny little pom-pom using a fork and some twine.  I also added real buttons and of course wiggly eyes.  ( I {heart} wiggly eyes).  So cute!
I used Birthday Bash, and Cursive (regular and one of the shift functions) and did some doodling.  I think doodling adds one more little touch to the finished page.
Then I popped it all up.  I was really hard to pop us the word little because it was so thin.
I have a lot of stuff going on this week so you will see new things often and on Saturday I am in a blog hop.  My first and I am so excited!  Check out more details by clicking the blinkie in the sidebar.
