Tea Party Invitation

My girlfriend asked me to come up with something for the invitation for her daughters 6th birthday party.  She told me he was going to be a tea party so what would be better than a tea cup.  I used a tag for all the part details and I thought that it looked like a tea bag also. 

I popped up the cup from the blackout layer with the saucer so that it would create a little pocket for my tea bag.  I tied the tea bag to the handle of the cup and finished it with a little bow.  I had to make sure the tag fit inside the cup but didn't want it to stick out so placement of the pop-up dots was careful.

I cut the phrase from once upon a princess, it was perfect since it was a tea party.  I did some doodling on the lettering because I thought it was a little lost on the pink without it.  The paper is all Stampin' Up card stock and a retired DSP, which I think was called....tea party.  The paper was not intentional but it worked!

Everyone loved the invitations and since I have has some inquiries for more custom designs...yeah!
