I thought since everyone is sharing Christmas in July projects I would show you this one. I got the idea from my friend and fellow scrapper Kristi from Craftin' on My Door. I used to keep all the cards I received from everyone during Christmas in boxes but the cards took over and there was no storage left for actual decorations. This is the perfect solution! (my apologies in advance for the not so great pictures. Ugh, shadows!)
I punched a square from each card (two from some) and then put each across the top. Some are pictures of family and friends and others are just a cute piece of the card our family received.
I used black letter to make the title with the shadow and the rod iron is a felt sticker I picked up from somewhere that has been in my stash for a while.
I decided to make my Christmas Card page the last one in the scrapbook for that year. What a great way to celebrate the past year and embrace the new one.
If you have other creative ways to keep Christmas or Birthday cards I would love for you to share them. I'm kind of sentimental but only when it doesn't take over the house. I don't much like clutter, it makes me a little crazy. Until next time.
Stephanie
I love that idea and hey I see my family in there. I will always send you a Christmas card now.
